Photograph Notes: As we started up the hill towards
Inspiration Point in the Grand Tetons, we saw this black bear about 100
yards to the right of the trail. As we watched, we saw the bear stand up
and rake its claws loudly against this old stump, apparently looking for
insects -- the claws sounded quite sharp! (August of 2005.)
