Photograph Notes: I took this picture about 15 minutes
after first light - about an hour before sunrise. It was still dark
enough that this exposure lasted about 1/3 of a second and, as the eagle
landed on the rock, the wings remained blurred. However, the eagle's
head was more or less stationary and in good focus. The result is a
photograph that I really like. (July of 2004.) |
