Photography Magazines and the Business of Photography

Through an increasing interest in photography, I've started to read a number of magazines and periodicals devoted to either photographic technique or technologies. In the same way, as I've developed our website and built my own little storefront with my best images, I have also become more interested in the business of photography; there are a number of books that go over the basics of how to build a photography business. I am passing these lists on in case any of these publications might be interesting to you -- or as gifts to the photographer that you know. Magazines and Periodicals

I'm sure that there are other good magazines out there. This sampling is a pretty good set covering the gamut from enthusiast to artistic -- and all with articles that I, at least, think are interesting.

The Business of Photography

Based in part on the viewer's requests for information on our pictures, I've recently made some of my photographs available through this website. I built my storefront myself but I wish that I had taken advantage of reading at least one of these books before completing the first design of my virtual gallery. Next time...
