Photograph Notes: After sitting motionless for
several minutes, this photograph
was taken a fraction of a second after the launched itself from the concrete
pile. The wings are draped over the body of the bird in such a way as it
almost looks like a sheet. In this seagull photo, the whiteness of the wings
made for a nice contrast with the dark blue sky and clouds. |
