Photograph Notes: Seagulls are common birds with thousands and
thousands scattered throughout the San Juan Islands. Occasionally,
though, we see something special in the photos we take. This is a two
picture sequence - the first shot shows the seagull perched on top of
the 'pile' which is actually a US Geological Survey marker pointing to
one one the turning points of the US-Canadian border. |
