Photograph Notes: On our family trip, we arrived at the
Grand Canyon at a spectacular time of day -- about thirty minutes after a huge
cloudburst had cleaned the air of all the dust and about thirty
minutes before the sun set over the canyon rim. There was just enough time to
catch the sun right behind this large dark cloud on the horizon. The diffraction
from the sun's rays brought out all the colors. |
